As the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards is gearing nearer, Ghanaian artiste, King Promise has opened up about his belief.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, the ‘Terminator’ singer said he deserves to win the Artiste of the Year at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

Promise averred he would be surprised if he doesn’t win the Artiste of the Year.

Taking a look at his work done in the year under review, the well-known Ghanaian artiste is hoping for victory.

According to him, the rate at which people are rooting for him to win comes as a great motivation.

“100%, won’t you be surprised? We’ve done one hell of a job. I’m not saying…we both don’t know who will win it. I believe I’m winning it. I believe I deserve to win it.

“…these days I just spit facts. Really I’m not one to blow my own horn or say stuff. I feel like this is the one everyone has spoken about the most in a very long time because you could tell like what we have done with our past releases over the past year and the work we’ve put in just representing the motherland to the rest of the world and being a worthy face of Ghanaian music,” the ‘Terminator’ singer said.

King Promise is contesting with Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, Nacee and Black Sherif for the Artiste of the Year crown.

The 25th TGMA will be taking place on June 1, 2024, at the Grand Arena of the National Theatre in Accra.
