Ghanaian actor, politician and farmer, John Dumelo, has reacted to the passage of the Narcotics Control Commission Amendment Bill 2023 in Ghana.
The parliament of Ghana approved the bill on July 12, 2023, after its third reading.
The passage of the Narcotics Control Commission Amendment Bill 2023 will allow companies to obtain licenses and plant cannabis for industrial purposes.
In a tweet, Mr Dumelo opened up about his readiness to go into the cultivation of cannabis for medicinal/ industrial purposes.
He further stated that it is a defining moment in Ghana’s history.
