Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson, has complained about the failure of Ghanaian leaders.
She lamented that they have failed the citizens.
Amid their failure, Lydia said Ghanaians have failed themselves in the process too.
She made this statement when speaking in an interview with Berla Mundi on TV3’s The Day Show.
“Leaders have failed us and we have failed ourselves in the process. Truly, if we were everything we preach, it would be a better place…it is our responsibility but it is also the leaders’ responsibility and we have all failed each other,” the well-known Ghanaian actress stated.
She also talked about the lack of accountability.
“Now we are doing well. We have come a long way…I see a lot of young people trying and it is not easy but then there are also people who say shut up, it is politics…We have a lot more to do. I am amazed at the young people in this country are just fantastic because they are trying,” Lydia Forson said.
