Lilwin mourns 3-year-old boy involved in his car accident; postpones Sunyani premiere of A Country Called Ghana

The premiere of ‘A Country Called Ghana’ movie by Lilwin in Sunyani has been postponed.

Earlier scheduled for Saturday, June 1, 2024, the movie premiere in Sunyani has been cancelled.

It was due to a 3-year-old boy, Tawiah Ampoma Richard, losing his life in Lilwin’s car accident which happened on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

In a statement released by the PRO of Wezzy Empire, Okyeame Akwadaa Nyame, the decision was taken to mourn the 3-year-old boy.

Lilwin and his management expressed their sincere condolences to the bereaved family and wished the father of the deceased, who is receiving treatment, Mr Jacob Kofi Amponsah, a speedy recovery.

They assured fans that tickets that have been bought already will remain valid.

The management of Lilwin also stressed that a new date for the premiere of ‘A Country Called Ghana’ movie in Sunyani will be announced in due time.
